Popular eyeliner recalled over conjunctivitis fears

A popular eyeliner is being recalled over fears the makeup may cause eye infections.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission announced the recall of Arbonne’s “It’s A Fine Line” Liquid Eye Liner on Tuesday.

The eyeliner has been found to contain an unacceptably high level of gram positive bacteria, which may result in infections, such as conjunctivitis or blepharitis.

The affected eye liners in Eclipse (Black) and Arbor (Brown) were sold nationwide between 14th April and 18th May.

People who have purchased the eyeliner are advised to stop using it immediately and return it to Arbonne for a full refund.
