People are being warned about a recall involving a candle from popular stationery store Kikki.K.
In a notice posted on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website, the company says their copper scented candle from their 2016 inspiration range has been recalled over fears the candle’s glass encasing may overheat and shatter.
“When alight and burnt to its base, the candle’s glass encasing may overheat and shatter,” the notice reads.

The recalled candles were sold at kikki.K stores in Australia (including David Jones and Myer), New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK (including Fenwick Bond Street, Harrods, John Lewis, Selfridges) and online from 3 April 2016 to 24 March 2017.
Customers have been urged to immediately stop using the candle and to return it to any kikki.K store where a full refund for the entire product will be issued.
