A drinking mug from popular homewares brand Maxwell & Williams has been recalled over fears the cup may crack when exposed to hot liquid, seriously injuring the user.
The affected mugs come in three different colours including Lagoon Blue, Jade Green and Orchid Pink.
In a recall notice posted on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website, the company says that “if the mug breaks during use there is a risk of scalding from hot liquid or injury from sharp edges.”
