Popular retailer selling jeans covered in mud for $595 – no joke
If you thought holes and rips in jeans were bad, think again.
There’s now a new jean trend in town and it’s a rather expensive one to say the least.
Thanks to luxury fashion retailer Nordstrom, you can now buy jeans covered in fake mud for a mere $595 AUD.
The company describes the jeans in question as “heavily distressed medium-blue denim jeans in a comfortable straight-leg fit.”
They then go on to say that the jeans “embody rugged, Americana workwear that’s seen some hard-working action with a crackled, caked-on muddy coating that shows you’re not afraid to get down and dirty.”
While some are not so keen on the product, others have praised it – claiming they can buy the jeans to make it look like they have a dirty job.
“These are great! Now that I’m unemployed I can still look employed with minimal effort,” one person wrote.
