Gold Coast motorists are being warned to expect heavy delays on the M1 through Robina this morning, after a fire broke out on the side of the road.
Fire fighters were deployed to the scene in the northbound lanes just before Exit 82 around 6.15 am.
A spokesperson has confirmed to myGC that a portaloo at a worksite is on fire, and crews were on their way to the scene.

There are already delays building through the Reedy Creek stretch in both directions.
No injuries have been reported at this stage.
The incident was still unfolding at the time of writing.
