Possible abduction sparks Police probe

THERE are concerns for a young girl who may have been abducted on the New South Wales Central Coast.

A young boy told Police he heard screaming and saw a girl being carried into a gold van by a man near the Central Coast Highway at Long Jetty, around 2.10pm on Saturday.

Officers also spoke to two adults, both of whom heard a girl screaming, but they did not see the girl being carried into the vehicle.

Police are now making inquiries into the matter and are keen to hear from anyone with information that may assist.

The van is described as an older model, gold-coloured Toyota Hiace with dark tinted windows.

The man carrying the girl is only described as having olive skin and hairy arms.
