Possibly severe storms on the way for the Gold Coast, SEQ
Prepare to batten down the hatches Gold Coast, we’re being warned to brace for possible storm activity over the weekend.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a storms to hit across the southeast from Saturday afternoon and into the evening.
It could mean heavy rain, damaging winds and heavy rainfall for the region.

“Severe thunderstorms are possible about Southeast Queensland on Saturday afternoon and evening, with the potential to bring large hail, damaging wind and heavy rainfall,” says Meteorologist Matt Marshall.
“Make sure to keep up to date with any warnings issued during the afternoon.”
The rain is expected to continue into next week as well, but temperatures will hang around the 30 degree mark.
