‘Postcard bandit’ Brenden Abbott is due in a Perth Court on Thursday.
It will be his second appearance since he was extradited from Queensland last month.
The serial bank robber will appear via video link in relation to a prison escape 27 years ago.

He allegedly broke out of Fremantle jail in 1989.
Abbott was granted parole in Brisbane in April, after completing 18 years of a 25-year sentence for a string of robberies and another brazen escape from a Queensland prison in 1997.
But he was promptly returned to custody by WA authorities. Abbott’s Lawyers fought his extradition but a Brisbane judge rejected the bid.
