Suns player Michael Rischitelli has emerged as a mentor for young endurance champions during pre-season training.
He has been working with Dion Prestia, Jaeger O’Meara and David Swallow and said he is impressed by their performance.
“They are all pretty fit. I remember when I first started I was struggling a bit in the conditioning part of it, but they are all going pretty well as far as fitness goes,” said Rischitelli.

He said he is in the best shape he has been in for two or three years and is enjoying an uninterrupted pre-season for the first time since joining the Suns.
“The boys had a good Christmas break – the program we had over the break was pretty solid and back.”
Rischitelli returned for duty in November and told Suns TV that he is confident the worst of his injury woes are now behind him.
