The ruler of Zimbabwe, President Robert Mugabe, has been put under house arrest by the military.
Zimbabwe’s armed forces insisted they’re not mounting a military take over, but instead say they’re focusing on catching criminals in Mugabe’s entourage.
There are reports the President’s wife, Grace, has fled the country.

President Mugabe has told South African President Jacob Zuma he was confined to his home but otherwise is fine.
President Zuma said he was sending his ministers of Defence and State Security to meet his counterpart and the Zimbabwe military.
The army has released a statement saying the security of President Mugabe and his wife is guaranteed.
