President Obama comments on Bill Cosby scandal
PRESIDENT Barrack Obama has expressed his view about the allegations surrounding Bill Cosby.
“If you give a woman … or a man for that matter … a drug and then have sex with that person without consent … that’s rape.” “And I think this country, any civilized country, should have no tolerance for rape,” Obama said.
When asked if Cosby would be revoked of his Presidential Medal of Freedom, which he received in 2002, Obama stated that there was no precedent for that.
Although Obama was very vague in his statement, it at least goes to show that the White House has at least looked into the matter.
