PRIME Minister Scott Morrison is expected to announce a major deal to re-vamp southeast Queensland.
According to The Courier Mail, the agreement between council, state and federal governments will primarily focus on redesigning the region’s road and rail networks to help ease the crippling congestion.
Mr Morrison was in the region recently to announce a number of road projects but it’s understood this City Deal will focus on public transport and digital infrastructure.
