Prince Charles tests positive to COVID days after visiting Queen

There are fresh fears for the Queen’s health this morning after Prince Charles tested positive to COVID-19 for a second time.

According to a Buckingham Palace source, Charles had met with his mother two days before receiving the positive result.

“This morning The Prince of Wales has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now self-isolating,” Clarence House said in a statement posted to Twitter.

The diagnosis has forced the 73-year-old to pull out of an event he was due to attend in Winchester on Thursday.

“HRH is deeply disappointed not to be able to attend today’s events in Winchester and will look to reschedule his visit as soon as possible,”  the statement continued.

Queen Elizabeth, 95, is reportedly not displaying any COVID-19 symptoms.

But the palace source said the “situation was being monitored”.
