Prince Charles to mark birthday the Australian way

Prince Charles will celebrate his 67th birthday in Western Australia next month.

He and wife Camilla will tour seven regions of New Zealand and four Australian states over 12 days.

The pair begin their travels at Wellington, New Zealand, on November 4 according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

They will then travel to Australia where they visit Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Albany and Perth.

The West Australian leg will include a birthday barbecue at Perth’s Cottesloe Beach.

They will also visit the new National Anzac Centre in Albany where the prince and duchess will mark the centenary of Gallipoli by travelling to the point from which the troop convoys left Australia’s shores.

The royal couple last visited in 2012, as part of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Tour.
