Prince Harry’s cheeky letter to Aussie wheelchair champ

Prince Harry has revealed he’s a fan of budgie smugglers in a hilarious letter to champion Australian wheelchair athlete Dylan Alcott.

He’s also proven he’s a huge fan of the TV Week Logie Awards (ok maybe not).

The Royal wrote to Alcott following his victory in the wheelchair quad singles at Wimbledon last month and his Logie win in June.

Alcott joked on Twitter that he his now pen pals with the Duke of Sussex.

“I want to pass on my congratulations for your recent win at Wimbledon and your most popular new talent award!”, Prince Harry wrote.

He also thanked him for his contribution during last year’s Invictus Games for “sharing the stories of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.”

“Your achievements are extraordinary, and the impact you have had in raising awareness and changing perceptions of disability is really inspiring.”

The letter then went on to wish Alcott luck for the future both on-air and on-court.

But it’s the final part of the letter that has everyone chuckling after Harry revealed a new side to himself.

“P.S. I’m wondering if you wore your Invictus Games budgie smugglers on the big night to accept it? Mine have come in handy in this recent UK heatwave!”

We’ll leave you all with that image in your head.
