Prince Philip, 99, admitted to London hospital
Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Prince Philip has been admitted to hospital in London overnight.
The 99-year-old’s was taken in after feeling unwell and is set to stay there for a few days as a precaution.
It’s understood the ailment is not related to coronavirus.
The last time Prince Philip was admitted to hospital was just before Christmas 2019, where he stayed for a few days while getting treatment for a preexisting condition.
He’s set to turn 100 in June, which will mark almost four years since he retired from public life.
During the pandemic, he and The Queen have been staying at Windsor Castle, just outside of London.
They’ve both received their COVID-19 vaccines.
