Prosecutors have appealed for Oscar Pistorius to be convicted of murder of his girlfriend instead of manslaughter.
The paralympian was found guilty of the manslaughter of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp and was last month transferred to house arrest after serving just one year of his five-year jail term.
In court overnight, South African judges heard an appeal by the state prosecutor calling for Pistorious’ verdict to be upgraded to murder.
