A psychic’s predictions for a big 2018 on the Gold Coast

The M1 will get worse, we’re in for more storms, sharks will threaten our waterways and there’s going to be a major wardrobe malfunction at the Commonwealth Games.

These are just some of the predictions for the Gold Coast in 2018 from one of Australia’s leading psychics.

Gold Coast-based Rose Smith from Absolute Soul Secrets has gazed into her crystal ball to give us an insight into what we might be in store for next year.

Just when you thought the M1 couldn’t get any worse, apparently it will. But there is some hope with Rose predicting the Government will finally spring into action and announce plans to fast-track an upgrade.

According to Rose’s crystal ball, the Gold Coast can expect a wet year with plenty of rain and storms, leading to concerns about dams overflowing.

We’re also in for more shark scares both in our canals and oceans.

“I see a really large grey and white shark swimming close to shore. I see a picture of a monster shark that has been caught and is hanging upside down,” she said

The Commonwealth Games is likely to be a huge success according to Rose’s predictions despite a few ‘behind the scenes’ issues.

“The Games will largely fulfil its objectives, drawing worldwide praise and attention to the area,” she said.

But if the cards are right one athlete is going to be left red-faced with Rose tipping a male runner will split his pants during the games.

Other things that have popped up in the crystal ball for the Gold Coast include a beefed up Police force, a real estate scandal and more parking problems.
