Psychologist charged over alleged indecent assault of patients

A psychologist has had a further 23 charges laid against him following ongoing investigations into the alleged indecent assault of five patients.

The 52-year-old man was initially arrested and charged on 29 May, 2017 after officers received reports a young boy had been indecently assaulted by his psychologist.

The man currently remains before the court.

Police will allege in court the new charges relate to the grooming and indecent assault of five patients between 2015 and 2017.

Detectives say the victims were all aged between nine and 22.
