Good news holidaymakers — Qantas and Jetstar are about to launch some pretty cheap flights around the country.
In a bid to relaunch domestic tourism, in line with stage three of our Covid-19 recovery next month, as many as 10,000 flights will go on sale for as little as $19.
The sale includes 15 destinations linking Queensland to other states, which are due to take off after the border closures are lifted.

That means we could be flying interstate as early as July 10.
Direct flights between the Gold Coast and Sydney and Melbourne are believed to be among the cheap fares, but will have to wait until the borders are definitely open to take advantage.
Holiday-makers are being urged to act quick, with predictions the fares will be snapped up once they go on sale at 9.00am today.
