There has been a serious mid-air incident involving a Qantas jet.
Australia’s air safety watchdog is investigating claims it suffered a so-called ‘stick shaker’ warning, leaving 15 passengers with injuries.
The problems started after the aircraft took off from Melbourne and was about 110km southeast of Hong Kong last Friday.

The ‘stick-shaker’ causes the control stick to vibrate noisily to warn the pilot of an imminent stall.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau said a report would be released ‘within several months’ after it interviewed the flight crew.
The ATSB said ‘the flight crew disconnected the autopilot and manoeuvred the aircraft in response’.
