Qld after school care teacher charged with child exploitation

A Queensland out-of-hours school care teacher has been charged with child exploitation offences.

The Qld Crime and Corruption Commission, assisted by the Child Protection Investigation Unit, executed a search warrant at a residential property in Bundaberg North, where they seized a computer and a number of storage devices that allegedly contained sickening child exploitation material.

The 38-year-old man who works at a out of school care service at a primary school in the Wide Bay-Burnett region was charged with five counts of possessing child exploitation material.


The Department of Education and Training have been notified.

Investigations continue.
