Qld anaesthetist allegedly touched and photographed three unconscious women

A Queensland anaesthetist will front court next month, after allegedly touching and photographing women while they were unconscious.

Police allege that between November 2020 and February this year, the Toowoomba-based anaesthetist inappropriately touched three women in their 20s without their knowledge.

He’s also understood to have taken photographs.

The 59-year-old man from Mount Ommaney has now been charged with three counts each of sexual assault and recordings in breach of privacy and will front court in Toowoomba on August 10.

Investigations are still underway, and detectives are appealing to anyone who thinks they may have been affected to contact police.

Anyone with any other information is also being asked to come forward.
