Annastacia Palaszczuk has confirmed that personal details about children, including complaints of sexual assault have been hacked.
Opposition Leader Lawrence Springborg asked Ms Palaszczuk in Parliament on Thursday whether she was aware parents were being called by the Department of Education to inform them of the breach.
“The Minister for Education advises me that yes, that is the case, that is happening,” Ms Palaszczuk said.

It’s reported hundreds of files have been breached in the hack of Education of Department files.
The Queensland Police Service Fraud and Cyber Crime unit are investigating.
