A couple have been left shocked after returning home from a night away to find a man, who had trashed their house and attempted to steal property, asleep in one of their beds.
Police said the pair returned to their Kirwan home around 8.30am yesterday and noticed a downstairs door had been forced open.
When they went upstairs, they found their personal items strewn all over the floor and a stranger asleep in their bed.
