DOZENS of alleged drugs dealers have been arrested during a major police operation in south-west Queensland.
In the past three days, police targeting the distribution of the destructive drug ice have raided 56 properties in Chinchilla, Tara and Dalby, and arrested 34 people on 1,049 charges.
Among those charged include a 32-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, both from Chinchilla, who have each been charged with 407 offences, including 399 counts of supplying a dangerous drug.

The couple has both been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Chinchilla Magistrates Court in October.
During the operation, officers allegedly seized a stash of dangerous drugs, about $15,000 cash and four firearms.
Detective Acting Inspector Teena Rolls from South West District said the operation aimed to disrupt the criminal networks supplying ice to rural communities.
“Dismantling this network means we are preventing further harm to rural communities, where dangerous drugs like Ice can do so much damage,” Detective Acting Inspector Rolls said.
“I would like to acknowledge the hard work of our officers in this protracted investigation, removing dangerous drugs, cash and weapons out of the hands of criminals.”
