Qld LNP to hold ‘health crisis’ town hall on the Gold Coast

The Queensland Opposition will be holding a town hall meeting on the northern Gold Coast today.

Leader David Crisafulli will hear local’s thoughts on the state’s ‘health crisis’ as he makes his way around the country.

He’s already heard horror stories from hundreds of others following town halls in Cairns, Rockhampton, Caloundra, Redcliffe and Brisbane.

That includes issues around ambulance ramping, waitlists and surgery cancellations.

The Gold Coast’s Town Hall will be held at the Pimpama Tavern from 10.30 am.

LNP Leader David Crisafulli is encouraging Gold Coasters to come along.

“By shining a light on some of these stories, we’ve had wins for individuals,” Mr Crisafulli said.

“What we want to do now is shine a light on the system, so we improve it for every Queenslander.”
