A Queensland man accused of murdering his step-son two years ago will face court today.
Police arrested the 28-year-old yesterday at a home north of the Gold Coast, following a two year investigation into the death at a home in Kingston.
The toddler was found unconscious in his bedroom by his mother who called emergency services.

He died later in hospital.
Police allege the man inflicted “horrible injuries” on the child causing him to die.
It’s not yet known if the boy’s mother knew about the crime.
The offender will face Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
