Qld man accused of murdering parents to front court today

A man who allegedly killed both his parents north of Brisbane, before fleeing to the Gold Coast and then down to Sydney, will face court today.

31-year-old Chris Puglia has been extradited from Sydney, arriving at the Pine Rivers Watch House last night.

He’s accused of murdering his parents, Frank and Loris, at their bed and breakfast in Joyner over the weekend.

Their bodies were found on Sunday, before Chris was then tracked down near Sydney.

Police say he stopped on the Gold Coast on Saturday night, and are still calling for dashcam footage of a white Rav4 seen in Southport.
