A man has been busted driving almost seven times the legal alcohol limit after being pulled over by police at Torbanlea yesterday.
Just after 3.40pm, officers intercepted a vehicle on the Bruce Highway after receiving information from a concerned member of the public.
The driver, a 45-year-old man, was subjected to a roadside breath test which provided a positive result.

He was arrested and taken to Maryborough Police Station where he returned a breath alcohol concentration of 0.332%, which is almost 7x the legal limit.
The man was charged with driving under the influence of liquor to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on January 11.
