Qld man charged over brutal hammer attack
A man has been charged after he is alleged to have assaulted a man with a hammer at Tarampa early this morning.
Around 2.30am at a Lowood Minden Road home a 35-year-old man was struck on the head with what is believed to be a hammer.
He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment of a suspected fractured skull.
A 45-year-old Tarampa man has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and is expected to appear at the Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow.
