His cause of death is yet to be determined.
According to 7NEWS, the Covid Task Force in Indonesia has been assigned with testing for COVID-19 inside the room before any further police investigations can commence.
“If we conduct investigations in the room without knowing the cause of the death, we are worried that our team will be infected by COVID-19,” investigation unit head of Kuta Police, Bagus Nagara Baranacita told Seven.
“So, COVID Task Force should do the task first and do a COVID -19 test. After we get the result, we can start to do investigations inside the room.
An autopsy will now be completed to determine the cause of death.
“If there is signs of violence, we will co-ordinate with the consulate who will talk to the family,” Mr Bagus said.
