A QUEENSLAND man has been sentenced to just four months behind bars for raping his nine-year-old stepdaughter.
The 35-year-old man from Hervey Bay admitted to digitally raping the young girl whilst on a holiday in Mount Tambourine on the Gold Coast four years ago.
The man was last week sentenced to four months jail and two years probation upon his release, with the community social media users expressing outrage over the sentence.

“You get more if you don’t pay a parking fine!” one Facebook user posted.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is now considering whether to appeal the sentence which has been labelled as being grossly inadequate.
