Qld police officer stood down over allegations of domestic violence

A Queensland Police officer has been stood down from official duty over allegations of domestic violence.

Police issued a statement on Monday, saying the 25-year-old male Constable from the Brisbane region had been tasked to perform non-operational duties.

“The officer is the subject of an investigation regarding allegations of domestic violence,” the statement reads.

“In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.”
