Qld police officer stood down over domestic violence allegations

A POLICE officer subject to domestic violence allegations has been stood down from official duty in Queensland.

The 45-year-old male sergeant from the Legal Deivision is under investigation concerning allegations of making false complaints to external organisations.

He’s also subject to domestic violence allegations.


“In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct,” police said in a statement.

“This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.”
