A senior police officer has been stood down, following allegations he engaged in ‘unprofessional behaviour with a woman in connection with his official duties’.
The 46-year-old senior constable from the South Eastern Region will be stood down from official duty while the allegations are investigated.

Queensland Police are reminding the public that this doesn’t mean the allegations are substantiated.
“In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct,” they said in a statement.
