A Queensland rideshare driver has been hit with additional charges following investigations into the alleged rape of female passengers in the Brisbane and Ipswich areas.
The 47-year-old man was charged earlier this month after a teenage girl was raped while using the ride sharing service in Ipswich on September 4, 2015.
Following ongoing investigations, detectives from the Brisbane Inner West Child Protection and Investigation Unit laid additional charges including one count each of rape and deprivation of liberty against the man on Wednesday.

He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 31.
Detectives believe there could be other victims and are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have been assaulted in similar circumstances to report the matter to police.
