The Maroons are no doubt still celebrating today after winning the 2016 State of Origin series overnight – the 10th series win in 11 years.
After claiming victory in Game One, Queensland maintained their momentum last night in Game Two, taking down the Blues 26-16.
Although Maroons skipper Cam Smith was named man-of-the-match, Dane Gagai has been hailed the hero of the game after he scored an impressive three tries for the Maroons, launching himself into the State of Origin record books.

Following the match, QLD Captain Cameron Smith says his only regret was not being able to lift the shield last night – he’ll have to wait until Game Three to do that.
