A 28-year-old Queensland woman has been caught driving more than five times the legal alcohol limit with two young children in the car.
The woman was detained by members of the public after she walked into a convenience store on Astley Parade in North Lakes around 6.00pm last night.
“Quick thinking members of the public detained the woman, preventing her from returning to the car until police arrived on the scene,” Qld Police said in a statement.
