Qld woman charged after allegedly stabbing man with kitchen knife
A MAN has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being stabbed with a kitchen knife.
Police said the stabbing happened at a house in Redbank, Ipswich around 6.30pm last night.
“It will be alleged a man and a woman, who are known to each other, had an argument during which the woman allegedly stabbed the man in the left side with a small kitchen knife,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
A 23-year-old Redbank man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
A 25-year-old Redbank woman has been charged with one count of unlawful wounding.
She’s due to appear at the Ipswich Magistrates Court this morning.
