A WOMAN has been arrested and charged after she allegedly lashed out at paramedics while being treated in the back of an ambulance in Cairns.

The 24-year-old woman was being treated in an ambulance outside a Redlynch address just before 12am when she allegedly became aggressive and turned on paramedics.
