QLD: Woman stabs ‘rapist’ in face with car keys

A WOMAN has managed to escape the clutches of a would-be rapist after stabbing him in the face with her car keys in a terrifying attack in Brisbane’s west overnight.

It’s claimed the 28-year-old woman was walking along Riverview Terrace at Indooroopilly when she was grabbed from behind and forced to the ground by a man at around 8.30pm.

The terrified woman unleashed a flurry of punched on her attacker as he started yanking at her clothes.

She managed to break free from the man’s grip and run for help after stabbing him in the face with her car keys.

The man is described as about 180cm tall with a skinny build, short brown curly hair and was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

Police are calling for anyone who knows a man with unexplained facial injuries to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
