QT Gold Coast are hosting a three day extravaganza on 18-20 May to celebrate Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tying the knot, complete with the ultimate British high tea experience.
Under the watchful eye of the Queen’s Guards, you can feast on a delectable assortment of tasty treats including petite beef pies, beetroot & goats cherve macarons, chocolate layered popsicles and old fashioned scone cupcakes.

Some of the highlights on the menu are the confit duck brioches, a favourite among the savoury offerings, while the lemon curd meringues will tick the boxes for any sweet-toothed noble.
QT Gold Coast is set to serve up three Princess High Tea sittings per day over the course of the royal weekend, with an early sitting at 10am for families, followed by sittings at 12:30pm and 3pm for adults only.
The family sitting is perfect for aspiring princesses and princes, and will feature cameo appearances from a British Bulldog and a fairy Godmother.
While the adult sittings will offer a healthy does of knee-slapping British frivolity with a Pimm’s cocktail bar (be sure to try the royal Pimm’s punch), butler silver service and classical entertainment.
Once you’ve finished the royal feast, you can capture a timeless snap at the Queens Throne photobooth, or if you are there on Saturday 19th May, you can head outside to the Calypso deck where the royal wedding will be streamed live.
