A former prominent Queensland criminologist is due to be sentenced today, for abusing a young girl in the 1970s.
75-year-old Paul Wilson sexually abused a girl under the age of 12 between 1973 and 1976 at his home in Indooroopilly.
The former Bond University Academic played blindfolded games of hide and seek with his victim, making her remove her clothes when he caught her.

He was convicted of four counts of indecent treatment of a child at Brisbane District Court on Wednesday.
Judge Julie Dick will hand down her sentence at 11am on Thursday.
Wilson is currently on bail.
