Queensland Police introduce their latest recruits… and they’re adorable!
Just try not to say ‘AWWW’ when you check out The Queensland Police Service’s new 8-week-old re-cutes, sorry, recruits!
The P-Litter of new Police puppies is too adorable. Born on July 24, the litter is made up of three males and five females, all with names starting with ‘P’!
So, p-pretty p-please welcome Punch, Pistol and Phate (the males) and Pammy, Pearl, Phoenix, Prada and Pepper (the females).
The birth of the litter is somewhat of an historic moment for the QPS, with the litter’s mum, PD Xena, the first ever active working police dog to fall pregnant and give birth to a litter.
The pups’ father is also a working Police Dog on the Sunshine Coast. PD Reko boasts a very successful career and recently tracked down an offender through dense bushland in Kenilworth.

The Dog Squad continues to be an integral part of the Queensland Police Service with their help resulting in up to 1200 arrests each year.
The P-Litter are just 8 weeks old, and will spend the next 12-18 months with their foster carers before joining the squad full time and starting duty training.
Some lucky officers today enjoyed a p-p-p-puppy p-p-p-play date with our cutest new recruits, the P Litter! #PawEnforcement https://t.co/EQsY903Hez pic.twitter.com/zHUq4VNk5j
