Queensland police officer stood down over serious misconduct allegations
A Queensland police officer has been stood down from official duty following an investigation into serious allegations of misconduct.
The 41-year-old constable from the northern region is subject of an investigation by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
He was served with a Notice to Appear before the Cairns Magistrates Court in relation to an offence of grievous bodily harm.
The officer will appear in court on 11 August.
