It’s been revealed Queenslanders overwhelmingly back Jackie Trad’s decision to exit cabinet.
According to Newscorp’s latest YouGov poll, more than two thirds Labor voters believe the former Deputy Premier should have resigned following her latest integrity scandal.
It involved the appointment of a school principal within her electorate, with the Crime and Corruption Commission still investigating.

The poll is putting even more pressure on Trad to quit politics all together.
It comes as voter support for the Palaszczuk Government continues to dwindle, with the YouGov poll also showing a a 3.2 per cent swing to the LNP.
It now leads Labor 52 per cent to 48 per cent on a two-party-preferred basis.
