Another Queenslander has tragically died as a result of the wild weather across the southeast this week.
A man and woman were driving through rising water levels on the north side of Brisbane yesterday afternoon, when their car was swept into a creek in Aspley.
The 53-year-old driver managed to escape the vehicle, but the 44-year-old female passenger could not.

She was found dead in the vehicle by rescue crews.
The male driver is now recovering in hospital.
It’s the second flood-water related death in southeast Queensland this week and the fourth this year.
Investigations are now underway.
Authorities continue to urge motorists to be safe on the roads during the wild weather and to stay away from flooded areas.
