Queenslanders can now fly into Tasmania without quarantining!

Gold Coasters now have the chance to holiday down in Tasmania, with the southern island reopening its borders from today.

The Apple Isle is beginning to welcome back all Aussies, after being closed off from the mainland throughout most of the coronavirus crisis.

All states except for Victoria and New South Wales will be able to travel there from today.

New South Wales is expected to be included from next week, while there’s still no word on a reopening to Victoria.

At the moment, direct flights in and out of the Gold Coast from Tasmania don’t start until December.

Flights from Brisbane are operating from today.

But our borders are not open so how do we get back in qld without quarantine 🤔🤔

No, only from NSW and Vic, other states are not declared hotspots so you only have to do a border declaration
