Quick thinking Logan servo worker prevents robbery
A Service Station has been targeted by an armed robber north of the Gold Coast.
Around 9.12pm on Sunday a man walked into a Logan Road business at Underwood and used a milk crate to prevent the doors from closing.
He then walked up to the counter armed with what appeared to be a handgun and told the man on duty that he wanted money.
The attendant made it safely to a staff room and locked the doors.
The would be thief ran off and was last seen heading along Logan Road towards a car wash. He is described as Caucasian in appearance wearing dark clothing and a balaclava.
No money was taken and no one was physically injured during the incident.
